Safeway News Center Newspaper Display

The March 2007 issue of the P-O-P Times features the Safeway News Center newspaper display produced by Santa Cruz Industries, Inc. in the "OMA Preview" section.
Santa Cruz Industries, Inc. announces the production of displays for Fender Musical Instruments Corporation for showcasing the Meguiar's instrument care products.

The objective was to create an inexpensive permanent floor display with the versatility to showcase various packaged accessories on shelves and hooks, while highlighting the Fender brand. It is easily assembled with no tools or hardware required, and can be used as a one-sided or two-sided display. Consumers are attracted by a well-known brand and a shape representing a guitar pick.

Made out of laser-cut painted hardboard, the front has a laser-cut acrylic Fender logo screened silver on the reverse side, and the back has a silk-screened red Fender logo.
The premier issue of Marketing At Retail features the Fender Musical Instruments display produced by Santa Cruz Industries, Inc. in the "Product Showcase" section.

Passing of Tony Mineart

It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of Tony Mineart on Monday, December 25, 2006 after a recent cancer diagnosis. Tony has been a friend and business associate for many years. We enjoyed working with him starting with display projects for the Washington Post in the mid-1990's. We were thrilled to bring him on board as our Vice President of Business Development. His expertise and enthusiasm was highly valued.

The following link to the Newspaper Association of America contains an announcement about a great honor bestowed on Tony by the NAA on December 22, 2006. This article includes information regarding Tony's many contributions to the newspaper industry: NAA RECOGNIZES NEWSPAPER MERCHANDISERS OF THE YEAR

We extend our heartfelt sympathy to his family and many friends. He will be sorely missed.
